Savage 77D pump 12 guage

Gentlemen,

Can any of you give me some instructions for the reassembling of the above shotgun? I took it apart over a year ago and finished the buttstock - and cleaned maybe two or three ounces of dirt out of it too.

Now I have the bolt and bolt sled (?) installed but have two small pieces that I don't remember how they went. One is clearly a lifter of some kind. The trigger group is together.

I cut the barrel off to make a home defense shotgun, but forgot how to reassemble

Don't know a thing about it, Wayne. Try looking at Gunparts,Inc. They have exploded views of quite a few firearms, may be able to find something there to help you.

I look back fondly on the day I slipped an extra part into the parts bins on one of my buddy's guns. He spent quite awhile trying to figure out where it went.

I've got the exploded view and about turned my eyeballs inside out! Those things confuse my poor brain.
