Hi folks,
I need help with the pins that hold the stirrup and sear in the hammer of my old m66-1.
I need to transfer them to a second hammer, and need to do it right. Any help is most welcome,
jp

Head down to your local, well-stocked hardware store and get the numbered drill bit that is just a hair smaller than the diameter of the pin. Cut about an inch off the shank with your Dremel tool, and while holding the shank piece with a needle nose pliers, tap the pin out with a small tack hammer.

The shank piece will also act as your slave pin when you tap the pin into the new hammer. Don't forget to peen the end of the pin a bit before tapping it in to the new hammer.
