Took an old C&H press I had and turned it upside down then seated my GC with the LEE sizer die and dropped them in a bucket, you and put the ck on by hand and finish it with the ram all went on straight. Good for dip lubing also.

I made an above the bench stand for doing just that.
the nice thing with the Lee classic cast is that the Handle is 100% adjustable,
to it can be in nearly any postion. More about this is posted in the Special projects section.

It is a lot faster IMHO! Your set up is a Lincoln Navigator and mine is just a plan old Ford, nice setup.

Great ideas, one for someone who don't have the means to build a stand, and one who has the equip. to do so.

For someone who doesn't have the welding skills or the steel to make that stand, why not mount a press upside-down under the bench lip? That would work ALMOST as well.

Jim, absolutely that would work, of course you may have to sit on the floor ;)...Ray

That is where mine is and it works fine and I sit in a old office chair my neighbor threw away.

Many older presses such as the Lyman spartan have reversible linkage to extend the ram on the upstroke.Might be really handy for this.
