Conratulations on being the 2000th member, johnny x-ring. There is no award, but this is a friendly place to hang out, and a huge collective intelligence to solve boolit casting problems. Welcome to our addiction!

Welcome Johnny X-Ring, #2000. You could have waited until Oct 3, though! That is when I guessed we would reach this landmark! The good thing is, we are still awarded the same prize!

Last week I met a fellow at the range and told him about this place. Been casting 30 or 40 years. Was heading to a big Musket shoot. IIRC his name was John.

How do I collect my Finder's Fee?

Slughammer, if you were indeed the finder, you definitely deserve a special prize. If you could please show us three picture ID's of the found member, and three of your own, we will begin processing your request. We will also need to know date of birth for both of you, your mothers' maiden names, the birth places of your maternal great great grandmothers, and the names of your last two dogs.

Slughammer, after you meet those requirements waksupi has provided, you will be placed in "Your special prize is in the mail" status immediately![smilie=1: :-D

Thanks for the congratulations on being the 2000th member to the site. This website is definitely a good source of advice and reloading information. Also is quite entertaining with some of the threads in the articles going back and forth.

FWIW--I began casting for some handguns about 20+ years ago and then messed around with some cast bullets in an SKS. I am now going "retro" as I have some leverguns I want to work with and cast bullets are just the ticket. 30/30 in a Marlin 336, .303 Savage in a Savage 99, and .308 in another 99 (not the box magazine!)
