Those types of revolters were all the rag back in the 60's. I've seen a few by other makers. Shot a couple too, never could hit anything!

Never be tempted to reach out on the barrel to steady your aim. You will get powder, at the least, driven into your wrist and hand. Did that with a Walker pistol many many years ago. Took a long time to dig all the powder out of my hand.

I had a Jager 44-40 (imported and marketed by EMF back in the 80's) w/ 5-1/2" barrel. It shot well, but the hand spring kept breaking every 20-100 times the action was cycled. Finally sold it after I got tired of fixing it more than I was shooting it... I'm sure they're not all as argumentative than mine was, but FYI, they can be...
