Krag 1901 Sight Parts?

I just picked up a real nice 1901 sight on evilBay....well i thought it was real nice, apparently the spring is cracked, other than that finish is nice but the finish doesn't keep the leaf up. After a bit of poking around it looks like an 03 spring might fit or be easily persuaded to fit or am I barking up the wrong tree?

Probably not, the elevation locking knob is the same, the sights aren't much different. But if it doesn't work, let me know, I may have a spare 1901 spring running around here.

excellent, I'll let you know if things don't work out when i get around to getting the thing, no barrel yet so not too big a rush.
