hell, i figgured if people were casting for .223 and 7.62R the 5.45 wouldn't be any different.

I cast .223 and honestly I can't imagine working with something smaller.
Do they make checks for them or can you use fired SR primers? :D

Troy, do you own a rifle in that caliber?
If so, have you slugged the bore yet?
Moonie, I thought about using SR/SP spent primmers for GC on .224. I was told it was not worth doing.
I think the Ruskies messed up. when they made the 5.45x39 they should have necked down the 7.62x39. That would have been a screemer.
