New gun- excited- good deal!

Stopped at Gander Mountain on my lunch break today. Usually their guns are a bit on the steep side, but they had a new Braztech 30-06/20 gauge combo with hard case, papoose takedown pouch, mount, rings, and scope for $212 OTD. Scope is some no-name brand but the optics are clear, so if it holds a zero, that's fine with me.

I'd not pay that much for a Braztech alone, but with the extras I thought that was pretty good.

Plus since it's new, no copper to scrub out to speak of... might run a copper solvent through it just in case the factory fired it, but should be a fun CB gun out of the box.

Will try some varoius cast bullets this weekend and get back to you. :smile:

Down here way south of the border the multiple barrel combos are very popular.
Each receiver is registered which is costly and then every 5 years gets renewed. So interchangable barrels makes a nice proposition.

Is that the snythetic / plastic stock?

Does it have a recoil pad?.......your in for a suprise if it doesn't.

Bought my son one of the 410 ga / 22 combos and was quite suprised by the recoil of the 410, that hard plastic absorbs NOTHING.

A 30-06 should leave a mark:shock:
