I have a old Lachmiller 707 press that I have been using to resize lead bullets with Lee resizers . Would I gain any power by going to a Lee 90045 lube reloading press that sells for around $30 that they say is made for their resizers. I will only be resizing not loading with it . If not what would be a good alternative on the lower end of presses .Marvin

What you have will work perfect!
I use a RCBS Jr press to do the same thing you do.
Any press will work.
Lee advertises their press I guess because they want to sell more presses.
Does this answer help?
If not maybe someone else will chime in with better info.
Good luck and enjoy.

You will gain power only if your press doesn't have compound leverage.

your press should be adequate.
if it's not got the oomph i'd just go with thier [lees] o-frame.
i think it's called the classic cast.

How much are you sizing down the boolits?
Resizing shouldn't need too much oomph.
Are your boolits lubed?

The press you are talking about is just a regular c press. I see nothing to gain and it's one of lees cheapest presses. Yes you can size boolits with all Lee presses. You will have to go with a heavier one to gain anything.
