Fellow levergunners,
The Pennsylvania NRA Cowboy Silhouette Championship will be held Sept 30 & Oct 1 in the vicinity of Bradford, PA. If you would have an interest in spectating or shooting, the McKean County Rifle Club is located on west RT770. From Bradford take RT219 South to RT770....turn right. The range is located several miles out on the right hand side.
The match schedule is:
September 30 - shooting position- offhand (standing)
Course of fire: 15 rounds each at the following targets and distances:
steel 1/2 size - chickens@40 / javelina@60 / turkeys@77 / rams@100 / meters
9:30 AM Smallbore Cowboy Rifle (.22 long rifle)
1:30 PM Pistol Cartridge Cowboy Lever Action Rifle
October 1 - shooting position- offhand (standing)
Course of fire: 15 rounds each at the following targets and distances:
steel full size - chickens@50 / javelina@100/ turkeys@150 / rams@200 / meters
9:30 AM Cowboy Lever Action Rifle (.30-30, .35 Rem, .38-55, .45-70 ect. Pistol cartridge rifles can also be used.)
