New barrel came for the H&R

I bought a .357 mag barrel from a group member here and it was on my porch Wed. I dug out an H&R in .223 and switched barrels. T my surprise it fit perfectly! I have a few NEF/H&R and figured it might fit one of them well but this is like it was made for it. I dug out some ammo and did some plinking. Shoots well enough. Now when I get time I will work up a load for it.

By golly Dennis I think this would be the platform to do it in. According to the previous owner it has had very few rounds down the tube. It could use the break in. Let me know if'n you want to get together. Your place or mine works for me.
