Gun show find

I have read about others that find gems at a gun show or yard sale, but I never seem to be so lucky. Until last weekend. I very rarely see any moulds at gun shows, so I really did a double take at one table Sunday afternoon. Some old guy had about 15 – 20 moulds for sale. Most were out of production and most were Ideal. I bought an original 4 cav H&G 130 with handles for $50 and a 2 cav Ideal 311466 for $20 (handles were $10 extra which I got as well). Both moulds are in great shape and I already had a good casting session with the H&G. Since I didn’t get to the show until Sunday afternoon, I’m wondering what moulds were bought up before I got there? Anyway, nice to find a nugget like that once in a while.

I too go to gun shows looking for molds.I just never find anything like what you found.
I went to a small show saturday and did not see one mold or any other casting items.

I did find a new Marlin Cowboy 1894 44 Mag that I traded a S&W 686 CS1 for so that was a pretty good day.

Anyway good find on those molds. I hope to have that kind of luck some day.........Terry
