I got this 357 Ruger Blackhawk and I haven't had a 357 in years but did find a sizing die and a seating die in my junk pile. I have a single cavity Lyman 170gr SWC mould and cast 200 yesterday and found no sizing die I did have a LEE push through but it seems to have disappeared and the boolits cast at .3605. O goodie I said but went ahead and lubed six and loaded them, I had to gently push them in the cylinder but they fit and shot fine. When it is necessary you can make things work. There defiantly wasn't any leading.

I have a couple of one cavity molds. Work great!! Not exactly volume casting though.

For the better part of 10 years I used a single cavity lyman 358477 for all my 38 and 357 shooting and that was lots! 200 rounds almost every weekend.

Cast, size, lube, reload - all week - just to shoot on the weekend.

Buy a pound of powder and a 1000 primers every month in the PX, all I could afford. Used Unique and CCI primers - still do for that matter!
