Hello my name is James.I live 1/2hr south of Detroit.I've called or stopped buy every tire shop I know of and was only able to get a handful from an alignment shop.Does any body know of a place I can get some lead locally @ a reasonable price locally? The local hardware want $10 a# for plumbers lead.(CRAZY)

I'm in the same boat where I'm at, just smelted the last of my WW.

Muddy Creek Sam has some good lead listed in the Swappin and Sellin area at a fair price shipped to your door. I know it takes some of the "hunt" out of the sport!

u can try the metal recycling yards or if u know any roofers or plumbers who do renovation type work u can cultivate friendships

I always go home from the range with a few pounds unless there are too many people making deposits in " the bank". Picking is better after a nice rain.

Look at the trader section always lead at reasonable price.
