I'm wondering if a Keith style 240 gr. SWC .429 slug can be paper patched to be fired down a .452 revolver bore. Is it even safe to try something like this given the bbl cylinder gap? Just wondering.

I rather think that might be a prescription for disaster!

I have a couple of revolvers chambered for .45 Colt, I just cast proper bullets, lube, and shoot them accurately.

You will need very thick paper to make that match-up...so thick as to seem unreasonable.
Then, with no steel supporting it's cylindrical shape, there is no reason to believe the patch will survive the jump into the forcing cone.
