My sister had this for 11 years and the barrel had worked loose so she ask if I would dispose of it for her. Yes I will dispose of it, came home and fixed it and to dispose of it in my safe. It is a Model 190 Winchester. It was bought sometimes in the early 70's.

My dad gave me one of those many years and it shot very well. Hope yours is just as good.

YUP. I had one of those back in the '70's. The barrel loosened up after a couple of years but after I fixed it it was again a shootin' son-of-a-gun. Regards, Woody

My wife delivered meals on wheels to an old couple. He had one that was taken apart and need some work down on it. I fixed it up for him just before deploying last year. Shot well.

My Dad had one of those that he bought around 1972. I still remember that even though it was marked for .22 Long or Long Rifle; if the action was clean it would cycle with Hi Velocity Shorts.

Of course Shorts are more expensive than Long Rifles now, so it is probably a moot point.
