Does anyone know the correct way to adj the flat spring, for the hammer on a mod 94. It has a flat spring, with a strain screw? I think that is what that screw is next to the mounting screw of the hammer spring.
Thanks

I have never used the strain screw for trigger pull adjustment. I've always just screwed it up tight and left it there.

Don't know if that 's the correct way or not, but I've never heard of any adjustment method either.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Leadlum,

You might go to http://www.leverguns.com/ and ask.

Good luck.

I think I got it solved. I gave it another 1/2 turn after loosening up the flat spring, and it seemed to stop? so I re-tightened the flat spring, and went to the range, and shot a box of 20, and not a single mis-fire. Maybe I got it.
Thanks for the help guys.

I once thought that backing off the "strain screw on the flat spring" for the hammer would make the trigger pull better. IT DID NOT. All it did was creat misfires. The hammer was hitting but not hard enough to fire the primer. My 2cents.
