40-60 Winchester

I bought a Uberti 1876 Rifle in 40-60 about 2 weeks ago, was just curious if anybody else is shooting this caliber in a 1876. Would appreciate any loads you could recommend [smokeless or blackpowder], thanks.:drinks:

I have a friend who has an original 76 in that caliber and I have shot it. He loads a 300 gr bullet with trailboss. I do not know the charge and he also shoots black powder in it just filling the case enough to seat the bullet with a little compression. I only shot it with the tailboss load and it felt really light as far as recoil went.
