EMF Great Western II 1873 Alchimista

I've been trying to find a donor Uberti 1860 Army for a similar project to what EMF is now producing in the Alchimista. Basically an 1873 Colt clone with an 1860 Army grip frame. Anyone handled one yet?

I have a friend who has an original pair of Colt 1860s, they point and feel great in the hand. I have heard of and seen 1873s fitted with an 1860s grip and always thought that it would be a great combo, but have never actually shot one. I wonder if there would be anyway to put an 1860 grip on a Ruger NM Vaquero?
