Hey Guys,
Anyone know where to buy 7.35 carcano dies?
Been looking all over and nobody seems to have
them. Also, where to get 6.5 carcano brass?
Graf is out of stock, and I've heard that they won't
be restocking it in the future. I know that 7.35 is
totally unavaliable from any source.
Thanks,
Denny

I would look for used reloading dies at the gunshows, small gunshops, garage sales, and Ebay.

Thanks Guys,
That takes care of the dies, but theres no way in hell I'll pay $1.00 a round
for brass. Besides, Norma brass sucks. Doesn't last worth a damm.
Splits after a couple reloadings, plus the extractor groove is the wrong size
in the 6.5 carcano.

.................Leadhead, you do know that the 7.35 Carcano brass is just the 6.5 brass with the neck opened up, right?

The M38's in 7.35x51 usually have VERY tight chamber necks. In slugging my rifle I found it had a .300" groove so I wanted a .301" cast boolit. To make a long story short, in order to get a cartridge with a .301" cast slug to chamber I had to turn the casenecks down!

A positive is that the rifle is a very fine shooter with the short amount of work I've done with it to date. The slugs were Lee C309-150F's. They were lube-sized .308" then I ran them through a push through sizer to make them .301".

Yea, Buckshot, I knew you can neck up the .65 brass, but I didn't know about the
tight necks. Thanks for the heads up.

Swampmaster,
I wouldn't mind having a couple hundred rounds of that.
Can't you ship UPS?
Let me know what you want for it.
