I've got a bucket of stick on weights, probably at least 100 lb. I have accumulated about 35# of linotype. I'd like to sort of duplicate WW alloy, with maybe a little extra tin, say around 1%. If I add 1 # of lino to 10# of lead, I'd have about .4% tin and 1.2% antimony. Actually, the percentages would be a little less, since there would now be 11# total. I'm thinking I may need to go to 2# per 10#. That would give me close to 1% tin and close to 2.5% antimony. Maybe someone who's been down this road will have some advice.

Linotype is 4-12-84
Mix 1 lino to 3 leads to get WW equivalent.
If you need extra tin , it should be a little less that 1% of the total alloy to end up with slightly over 2% tin and 3% antimony.
