Is there anybody that can point me in the right direction on finding a Remington Model 12 22 special inner Mag tube. This is Winchesters version of the WRF. The tube O.D. is .355. I have been all over the wire for 4 month now and no one makes or carries them any more. The tube is brass and is 17.25 long. I have all the parts. Just need the brass tube.

Thanks Deacon Stone

Numerich/Gun Parts Corporation.
I have found some unusual stuff there. I converted my tube mag on my Marlin 336 to a full tube there. They had the tubes, and spring.
Give them a try.

Wouldn't a mag tube for 22 magnum work? Should be some of those around that could be modified to fit.

Have you checked Brownell's? They have tube building kits.

I didn't know they made those in .22 Special.

Have you tried Jack First?

A couple of weeks ago a 22 LR came into the shop needing an inner tube. I had no parts except an old 22 magnum with a tube magazine. It fit so I shortened it about an inch and couldn't tell it from factory. If it fits you must acquit :groner:.

That would tell me that some are the same diameter in magnum and LR.

Life is good

There are many small companies that can supply drawn brass tubing in a wide variety of internal and external dimensions.

In worst case you might find one with a slightly larger OD and either turn it down, using a dowel rod inside to keep it stiff, or draw it through a proper sized hole in a steel slab.

The tube OD and ID is far differnet on the 12CS, and the 121, 22 spl tubes vs the 22 Long Rifle tubes.

Also the follower and the end plug is differnt as well.

Sorry but we do not offer that assembly, or any of those parts.

Good luck on your search.
