I used some Leverevolution 45-70 yesterday, as I was missing a shell holder, couldn't load any boolits for my new rifle. I thought at least I had some more brass to reload, but just found out that Leverevolution is shorter than standard brass. I just measured some new Remington brass at 2.093 and the Leverevolution brass is at 2.032
Guess I'll find something to use it for, but will need to keep it apart from any other brass.

Probably had to shorten it so the pointy bullets would keep the OAL the same.

Probably good brass though but your right, keep it seperate. If your running near max loads .061" would be enough to need to reduce the charge a bit plus, if your crimping they would of course need a die adjustment.

You could always buy some Leverevolution bullets and reload, IF you happened to want to shoot some jacketed rounds.

That is disappointing. I have used two boxes in my contender to have brass for my cast. Does Starline make all their 45-70 that length?
