Is it Ok to use a pan like this for ingots or does the teflon etc. cause a problem?

You need to burn or sand blast the non stick coating off. Don't breath fumes if burnt, and then let rust out side ,then you will be good to go

There is not enough teflon on those molds to create a problem. Dive right in - any out-gassing will be so minimal that it would be impossible to measure from 2 feet away.

I tried a new pan without burning it out first. The ingots were too fugly too look at.
So I burned it out on the smelter burner . Now I make pretty ingots.
Who cares , right? They are going to be melted anyway.
