I am waiting for a CZ75 in 9mm. What I am thinking of is using my RCBS 38-140-cm mould. Has anyone out there tried this and how did it work for you. I've used the 45-230-cm in a XD45 and had good results. What are your thoughts and any loads? Thanks

NOTHING WRONG WITH THE WEIGHT...JUST NEED TO SEE IF THE NOSE PROFILE WILL FEED

I have been thinking about the very same thing - I will be watching.

winchester 9mm case
cci standard pistol primer
4.1 grains of HP-38
RCBS 38-140-cm sized .358
OAL of 1.180 inches

Fired 60 rounds without a malfunction in my CZ75B. Accuracy with my forearms on the car roof was 2.5 inches at 25 yards. No leading. I was real happy with the results for the first try. And for what I need it may be good enough. I think its probably shooting better then I can see.

All good, JBLee10. At the 1.180" OAL, it feeds well and the boolit isn't slamming into the rifling leade? Good to go if so, methinks.

FWIW, 4.1 grains of WW-231 was my load used to duplicate my agency's 9mm service load with 147 grain Winchester JHPs of that weight. IIRC, 1.135" was the OAL. Velocity ran 935-950 FPS from my SIG P-226.

Seems pretty long, doesn't it. But no it doesn't touch the leade in my gun and it feeds fine. The nose of the bullet is about .351 and I load them just up to the bottom of the crimp groove. I was guessing that it would shot around 950fps but haven't chrono'ed it yet. Thanks for the info. I'll be loading up some more and testing them out further. I'm surprised I find so little info on this RCBS mould. Works great for me.
