Muzzle Loading Hunting Challenge, 9/26/10

It's that time of year again and my club* and I invite you to attend our ML Hunting Challenge, so named because the course of fire uses NMLRA animal targets @ 25-, 50- and 100 yds.; 20 shots in all. We'll begin at 9:30AM and have food available for purchase too. The entry fee is $10.00. Our address is 105 Scarawan Rd., Stone Ridge, N.Y. and can be reached via the NYS Thruway, Exit 19 (Kingston) or Exit 18 (New Paltz). Dang, Paul it would be as hard to get there as it would be for you to get to Friendship. Sounds like fun.

Alan, That's true, but what I don't understand is why, most of our club members, who live in the area find reasons not to attend. Thanks for the good thoughts!

I have wondered that myself. I know several who are good shots and live close who even come to watch. If shooting and food don't get people there, well have fun with the ones who do show up.

I hope to be able to travel some and get to a lot of matches in a few years.
