My Dad died Aug 30 after a brief battle with lung cancer. Dad was a ww2 veteran and served in North Africa and Italy. He fought in the battle for the monestary at Monte Casino. He was a kind man with a firm hand and was always my ace in the hole if I needed anny help. If I live to be a 100, I will always be able to hear his words: If you dont do anything else son, just be your own man and you will be fine: I am going to miss him more than I got the words say. Curdog. Lost my pappy in July 2000, a sailor in WW2 and Korea. I'll never stop missing him. Rarely a day goes by that I don't have one of those "Gee I wish I could call him and tell him..." moments.
