Anyone have load data for the 45 acp for this mold? OAL also.
bullseye, unique, 231, and zip are the powders i have.

Sorry, don't recognize 45266 as a valid Lyman number. Do you mean 452664? If so, it's a bit on the heavy side for a 45 ACP.

If it's the 452664 it won't work well in most automatics because the nose is too fat and snags the slide lock prematurely. This is the voice of experience.

If you're thinking of loading 250-grainers in a .45 ACP, do a search here, this topic has been discusses several times. You need either to load very lightly or use a 20# slide spring in a full-size.

#45266 is an obsolete Lyman mold. It's like the #452066 but with a bevel base.

As I recall, this bullet looked like a cross between a 452-460 and a 452-488. I used 4.0 grains of Bullseye with this bullet in my old Combat Commander back in the seventies. It didn't work too well and I later sold gun and mold. I wish I still had the gun though.

I know... old post. If anyone has a four cavity mould for sale, I could use another one. This bullet shoots great in my three M1911 bullseye guns.
