Hi all.
Looking at buying a RCBS 2 cavity #82060 (.314wc) and was wondering if Lee 2 cavity handles will 'handle' my RCBS mould???? I currently have a RCBS #82014 (.309fp) wearing Lee 6 cavity handles. I like the Lee handles, also a good excuse to get another mould too!! haha
Thanks all!

You can make them fit with some shimming and the holes don't quite work but with a file they will do. Not the best fit but it will work. The 6 cavity Lee mould handles might be a bette choice. With a little fileing or grinding they fit and are a lot better handle.

Lee 6 cavity handles need to be milled down a little bit to fit RCBS 2 cavity molds. The screw holes didn't require any modifications.

This shows how much material had to be removed from the Lee handles for the RCBS 2 cav blocks.

Lyman next to RCBS mold blocks both in Lee 6 cav handles.

I just bought another set of lee handles and they didn't need any fitting to work with lyman or rcbs molds. My old set of lee handles (10+ years old) I notice are filed as described above. I have rcbs handles, and while they are better made than the lee handles, I actually prefer the lee handles as they are significantly lighter.

I have had the same experience as ricksplace but I have only tried using Lee 6 cavity handles built in the last 18 months. Maybe handles made before that were a little thicker?
I have used the Lee handles on Lyman single and double cavity molds and one old Ideal single cavity w/ no adjusting.

They worked for me as well; I just had to grind them down a tiny bit on one side to be thin enough. The Lee handles are significantly less expensive than the RCBS handles.
