Loaded a few of my recently cast .44's. I went with the traditional Keith loading, we'll see how they do in my Ruger Lipseys .44 Special Bisley, 4 5/8ths barrel. It's cooling off here, at least the last couple of days, barely made 90 today. Time to play outside.

Just came from a brass-cleaning thread. Darn, now I remember why I started chasing the perfect looking brass!!
Those boolits look really good...
Good looking reloads..........when you have the time let us know how they they do.

Thanks guys, That is brand new Starline brass and I did give the boolits a wipe so they'd be purdy.
They shot real well. Best group was about 3in. at 50ft. I was resting on the truck hood so not the best,... I forgot the sandbags. I think the gun will do better than I can shoot. I shot mostly j-words, trying to break her in a little.

I like about 4 power levels in the .44 mag ..........
But my hands down load is the upper medium one.
With a 240 to 250 gr. lead boolit I push it with HS-6 @ just under 12 grs. and a magnum primer.
Even in my Smith Mountain Gun (39 oz.) ...... it's comfortable but authoritative!
(and accurate!)
Welcome to boolits!!
Very purdy ammo (BTW)
