you may, but getting the lube grooves to roll on smoothly will be the hard part.

as long as the bullet is smaller than the finished size you want they work fine.

You need to get with the guys on the other paper patching forum (just below this one). Almost all of them patch greasers with paper, and some even keep grease in the mix.

As powderburner said it will work, and it doesn't work to bad, only you loose the ballistic advantage of the smooth sided patched bullet. So if that's all you have to load with by all means go for it.
