Taking Barrel Off a Win.25

Has any taken a barrel off a Win. model 25,
I have barrel bushings and action wrenchs for bolt guns that will work, But how tight are they and how do you surport the action, tricks - ect. Thanks- Joe

If you've never taken a screw-in barrel off a shotgun before be advised you will need to support the inside of the barrel with a close fitting plug before you put it in a barrel vise. Thin barrels are easy to crush. I don't remember the Mdl 25 barrel as being very tight, but it wouldn't hurt to make a support block for the action before putting the wrench on it. Other than the above I don't recall anything in particular about a Mdl 25, of course it's been at least twenty years since I worked on one.
