I ordered 1000 demilled 30 Carbine cases on 3 Sep. Unlike the brass I had ordered before (nonfunctional primers and neck crimps), this brass has been cleaned, deprimed and I cannot find a neck that has a crimp...can I say "ready to reload without any major prep work".

When I ordered the brass, they still had 9000 left. Cost was just under $115 including shipping. They also send a nice little letter opener with the package. For the 30 Carbine brass or low stock items they only take phone orders.

I think the term "demilled" might mis-lead some readers.

To me,that term means that the item in question has been rendered unserviceable, and not fit for its original purpose.

In this case, though, you're speaking of GOOD brass which is perfectly OK to load and use for normal handloading. When I saw the first announcement of this brass being available, I immediately ruled out buying any of it because of that "demilled" tag.

The common terms on the internet for such stuff are "pull-down" or "fired GI brass". Just a thought.

Good point. It made me cringe to see the "demilled" M1 Carbines when I was looking at parts. Thousands of them cut up...
