Oh Man the package I have been waiting for. I was in the shop cutting a few blocks for my bottom pour lead pot to set molds on. I hear a Beep Beep. The Brown Truck setting at the end of the drive way, I jog out there and the drivers say "Seems like everytime I have a gun for you guys someone is always home."

It has arrive my 24" 243 barrel and the 32" 45-70 barrel.

I need to run down to the sporting goods shop and buy a few sets of rings and a rail for the long barrel if they have one. If not I will be waiting to shoot the 45-70. Once I get the scope mounted on the 243 Im going to break it in/sight it in, probably today yet.

First impression....dang this sucker isnt what one would call light.

Pics later.

First 3 shot group shot at 50 yards, havent really shot this much yet the 45-70 is to much fun.

This is a group shot the extra barrel is a 50 caliber Muzzy barrel, this barrel will shoot 3 shots touchin at 50 yards from the bench.

Tonight I took the trigger apart and did some polishing/cleaning and took my 5 pound trigger down to about 2 pounds.

Like I said I have been shooting the 45-70 more, I have been shooting 500 grain cast out of it with a case full of TrailBoss and at 50 yards I have been getting clover leafs off the bench...havent shot much at 100 yards with it yet, I do all my load development at shorter ranges for a few reasons, I dont have to walk as far to check targets and if the load doesnt shoot at 50 yards I dont have to waste my time to find bullet holes in the backer.

They are showing alot of promise here, Ill find out how well they shoot tomorrow with that lighter trigger.
