Our Governor declared a state of emergency yesterday for the entire state.

In this state when the Governor declares a SoE it makes it illegal for you to leave your property with any firearm until the SoE ends.

That's right folks, our 2nd amendment rights have been suspended due to a storm that may not even hit us. Ok, it looks like it will graze the coast, but this SoE is for the entire state, NOT just the coast.

It CAN happen...

Too bad for the dove hunters, season opens Saturday...

o well, in Mississippi, your car is considered an extension of your home and therefore legal to have a firearm in it. don't know about NC but here they're like American Express 'don't leave home without it' and during a soe, don't get caught HAHA

Here in louisiana your vehicle is also considered an extension of your home. But if you are carrying a firearm its best to let the police know where and what is in the vehicle before they search it. Frank

In utah, they made it specifically illegal to suspend the 2nd ammendment in a SOE.

And your car is also an extension of your home in Utah.
