I have been stopping at tire shop after tire shop asking for w/w so I was hesitant about stopping to ask again but at the light I made a quick left turn(not so easy with a 16'trailor loaded w/firewood)and pulled in and the guy had a bucket full heaping said 30 bucks

7,247 in the last bucket I had. Mostly small ones, not many truck tire weights.

The last batch of WWs I was given contained at least 25-30% steel WWs. Times they are achangin. get them while you can. ..dale

You will probably find at least 4 different alloys in your bucket.
1. Regular WW alloy clipons
2 Stick ons.... some will be pure lead...some will be steel
3. Clip on steel
4. Zinc
A magnet will define the steel ones.
If a magnet is not attracted to them they are standard WW alloy, soft lead [ stick ons] or zinc.
I test each weight with a pair of wire cutters.
The very soft ones will be pure lead.
The harder ones will be zinc. I ALWAYS check them with a magnet and wire cutters.
I haven`t screwed up a batch with zinc yet....dale
