I need to get a Mold for my 35 Whelen AI.
Probably go with an MM brass mold, and for sure a GC design at roughly 250 grains.
Any design suggestions?
Thanks,

Dan should be able to scale down the nose of a 358009 to get 250 grains and that's a proven game getter in the Whelan. That weight would be handy for a .35 Remington as well. I'm using a 240 grain HP of that design made from a modified Lyman 358315 and it shoots well in my .35 Rem./beagle

I came up with this design from Mountain Molds. Weight is 260, and is one of the most accurate boolits in my .358 Winchesters.

Have you used that on game yet?

Haven't used it on game yet, but would guarantee it will go through an elk at any angle.
