XP 100 Sling?

I have an XP100 35 Rem that I plan on deer hunting with this year. It has a bipod attached and I think the best way to carry it would be with a sling. It has a front sling attachment point, but no rear one. Would it be best to drill the bottom of the grip and install a sling swivel there or just loop arount the grip? Anyone with hunting time with one of these rigs I would like to here from you.:Fire:

The old way was to put the sling under the back of the bolt... A loop was made and put over
one arm and the head so the gun would hang barrel down on the shooting hand side,,
then when shot you could tension the sling by pushing away from you SAS sub gun style.
