Expander plugs can be ordered seperateley from Lyman. The 2 service reps, Nancy or Christine, will help you if you wish to just order the plugs. Also found out about the reservoir cap on the model 450 luber if you get a handle upgrade kit. They don`t make a new style that won`t be in the way of operating the new handle. You must either leave it off or grind it down yourself, or make a "jerry- rigged" version as I did.Robert

Nancy really knows Lyman products, and Christine was very gracious and helpful, during my last transaction.

I think the plugs are $4.95 each.

C-H will also make custom size plugs for the Lyman 'M' die, FWIW.

Do you have a Lyman contact. I would like to get the generic 'M' die and plugs for several rifle and pistol calibers.

Stephen, What 462 said. You`ll get one or the other customer service ladies. I`ve dealt with both and both have a sense of humor aside from helping with your question or order. Yes, they can supply about any cal. "M" die expander you`ll need, or other Lyman parts. Robert

Will contact them. Was easier way back when when Lyman and Sierra were part of Leisure group. I lived over the hill from Sierra when they were in So Cal.

I did not know you could buy oversize "M" die expander plugs. Yesterday I thought I was so smart making my own.

I just ordered several plugs from Lyman (Nancy) for $4 each. I needed a short body for short cases such as 35 Rem, so I ordered a complete "M" die from them at the same time. It was too much at $19.50. However, I thought it was worth a little extra to just get it done. My order came to $49.50 with $6 shipping. As a heads up Nancy told me that I was her 4th order for plugs that morning. She said that some bean-counter (my words not hers!) will likely notice what is happening and they might not continue selling the parts. They want to sell complete dies for more money. She said I might get what I want now while the gettin is good. I took her advice. I'll echo what has been said, Nancy is very knowledgable and good to deal with. Just a heads up in case someone is considering ordering plugs in the near term.
