For a customer of mine. 24 inch, stainless steel 6mm Remington. Is this a custom shop deal or is this a "stock" chamber?

I'm not a 100% sure, but don't believe the factory ever chambered the 6mm Rem.. I was toldby the mgr. of Fox Ridge (TC's custom shop) that it was closing. But also heard that they (TC) were going to do custom chamberings out of the factory in the near future. Whether that comes to be and how soon is anybody's guess.
I'm thinking if he wants one shortly, it will be from one of the custom barrel outfits. But you could call TC and see. That would be my first step.

You could have a 6mm TCU rechambered to 6mm Remington. Also check with Ed's Contenders at www.edstc.com
If he doesn't list it call him as he has stock not listed sometimes.

Might want to ask your customer what weight bullet he wants to shoot as some of the custom barrels go from 1 in 12 to 1 in 8 twist.

I have seen a couple 6mm-06 barrels as well but no 6mm rem barrels. Check out EncoreClassifieds.com. I see a bunch of barrels on there and maybe you can find one that can be rechambered. Just make sure to check the scope base mounting holes. Some are too deep to rechamber from what I have read and seen. Goodluck

Good find. I'll check with my customer and see what he says. Might be easier for him to order direct from Midway.
