I have been offered a grey lubrasizer for free. Sight unseen I said yes as I don't have one.

Who made grey coloured Lubrasizers ?

The Lyman 450 was/is gray. I have two. Don't know about any others. Free is good ...Ray

My Lyman 450 is grey. If it's a Lyman it should serve you well. I've only had mine about a month but it's been very good for my needs.

A 450 for FREE???
Good grief, grab it. I paid $15 for a used one in the early 60's. They are probably 10 times that much now?

Thx Guys,
I'm cleaning it up now. I haven't bolted it to anything yet. I haven't located the pressure nut or O-rings. Been looking at http://castboolits.gunloads.com/showthread.php?t=5468 and
http://web.archive.org/web/200605070...Guide%2014.pdf so will see if I can find it tonight.

Well all the bits came apart just fine. Looking for some O rings (just in case). Happy days.

Lyman's websight has parts that you can order direct from them. Or give them a call they are helpful people. I have three gray and one orange 450, they are good units. If yours have the flat steel handle then be careful how much pressure you put on it, they sometimes will break at the ram pin hole if you get too agressive with them. Standard boolit sizing won't hurt them, but trying to swage down a boolit that is much over .004" extra large and a hard alloy can over stress the handle. Lyman sell conversion kits to the 4500 style handle if you do break one.

make sure the pressure nut is`nt off the threads down in the well , it can happen !!

If it`s not cut ya a peice of pvc 3/4" & drop it in !!

Not a good pic of the linkage & all but here`s 1 of 2 of mine .
