I haven't smelted any "raw material" in 15 years and plan to do a couple days smelting soon. Have a supply of cable sheathing, cast iron pipe joint rings, sheet lead, isotope lead from X-ray room, boat keel, dive belt wts. and WWs. All told 500# +-.Back in the early 90s did a bunch of smelting and have some ingots from that era. Then I used my soft lead for my casting ML boolits and the alloy lead went into sinkers for lead lines on nets and trolling weights and jig heads. I don't remember any trouble melting any of the clip on WWs back then but is there much of a chance the ingots have zinc in them? They would be from 1990 to 1995 era. If i resmelt them and use some sulfur will it take the zinc out? I read the sulfur and zinc sticky and am still confused= SNAFU. Thanks all, 10 ga
