I bought some scrap on eBay, and included was this nice looking ingot that I guessed was lino or tin, or something. What it actually is, I believe, is pure zinc. It is marked 'Picher Lead Company', and on research, I find they also produced zinc as well as lead. In any case it definitely is not Pb. It weighs 2 lbs 12 oz.

I have no use for it - if someone out there who uses zinc in their casting, they can have it for the postage to get it to them. I will send it in a Small Flat Rate USPS box.

Moderator - I though it might be best to put this here rather than in BST, but I leave it to your judgment.
