Im looking for a midrange load for this for my blackhawk. I have a bunch of unique and would like to shoot that. My heads are 286 gns out of the mold. Looking to knock over some steel without burning a hole in the air.

Fun stuff is 7 to 8 grains of UNIQUE
That is a 44 Mag SUPER Blackhawk, right ??? and not a 44 Special Black Hawk or a 44/40 Blackhawk??

Thanks for the info.
I have a super blackhawk in 44 mag and a new flat top 44 special both are 4 5/8" guns. I use 7 and 7.5 of unique with the 250 Kieth's but was at a loss for the 285 grain bullet. I may start with a light load for a 300 and work it up on the chrono.
Heads are bollits - leadheads on a brass case :)
