I just redid the wood on this $200 gun. The previous owner had put some ugly coating on it. Took it off and light sanded it. The Medallion was missing so I put one of the first man on the moon commemorative coin in the opening. The metal was better than 95%. It has light Cherry stain and 3 coats of truoil.

Ain't it fun to find one like this. Put in a little work and make it your own. Turn it into a gun you want to be seen using. I like the idea of the man on the moon coin. That makes it a 'one-of-a-kind' and a collectors item worth far more than anyone would deem reasonable.
Nice Job Mark. Helice

Thanks,
The loads are ones that seem to work good in my other 3 - 336's. The 1969 is the year I graduated from High school, turned 18, joined the Coast Guard, Finished building the house I own in Washington, and other minor things. Had the coin just sitting around and it seemed the thing to do. I haven't shot it yet but that will happen soon. I may change the sight but shooting it with open sights will be the determining factor. Mark
