Was bidding on a supposedly mauser "Banner" 98 bolt and had a day or so before the auction ended. Today I get a e-mail from the powers-that be at ebay and they said they had pulled the item because it does not conform to their laws.
Obviously someone does not know what they are doing. Frank

That's better than PayPal. They'll yank YOUR account if you use it to pay for a gun or ammunition and they catch you.

Don't ya love how the liberals and fellow travelers try to spank us for being politically incorrect? Like life in general is one big day care center.

I bought a complete 1903A3 at Ebay about 5 years ago. I found it listed and couldn't believe my eyes. There was even a couple of bids on it. I bid too, of course but I also hurridly sent the lister a message telling him Ebay was going to cancel his listing as soon as they found it, and for him to keep my e-mail address and contact me when they did. They did, he did, and I did--buy it from him. Saved him the $15 or whatever Ebay would have charged him. I believe the gun was cursed. The gun turned out to be a FedOrd gun even though he insisted it was a 'Springfield'. He was an old fellow and obviously overloaded in selling and shipping guns so I listed it on AuctionArms and made no effort to get my money back from him. Respect for age and not anxious to continue beating my head against the wall, and all that. It sold for what I had in it and the buyer promptly sent payment. But in spite of my efforts he couldn't/wouldn't send an FFL so I could send it to him. I don't know what his problem was there, he just said he didn't have time. After a couple of months I sent his money back and relisted the gun. Once again it sold quickly, this time to a Vetrinarian in Utah. He promptly sent the FFL but it took me two months to get the money out of him. I was real glad to ship that gun out, like I said, I think it was cursed.

fleaBay is amazing at best, one can put the photo of a 30rd mag with a listing stating its a 10 rd and they will let you sell it (computer scanned ya know for compliance).
But dont dare list a trigger adjustment screw with a statement it will fit an AR, it will be scanned by that same big brother algorythm and tossed out in ~30 minutes.
And if one lists you charge extra for use of PP, they send you a nasty gram with some BS about you have to hide those charges in your price rather than be honest with folks.
Just remember, its all in the name of compling with Kalifornia's socialist laws!
