Finaly figured out how to post a pic of some of my recent success with swaging , this is a 50 yd. 3 shot group shot with my HOMEGROWN (bullets) . 145 gr. 12 degree spire point with a 10" 7mm T/C contender with open sights and 24.8 gr wc735 surplus powder and wsr primer. A good start I think?

A little more work and it should work for silywet ???

I'm using Corbin rbot 4 m die set . I have made from 120 gr - 185 gr. with them with open tip, lead tip, and polymer/Balistic tips ! I am doing them on a csp-1 press .

What do you use for your balistic tips? We've seen ski plugs, soft air pellets, BB's, and probably a few others here on this site. Wondered if you were doing something different.

BTW, I use a CSP-1 press too. Have been making .224, .243, and .358 so far, but all flat based. I have been considering getting a RBT set to match. Nice to see they work and look good!

I use airsoft bb's that I keep next to the press in an old toaster oven just set below the melting point of the plastic . That way they form up to a nice point . I will get a couple and scan them in for a pic. apparently I shot them a ll up but one !!!
