03-A3 rule!

In our military match at the range (that I didn't get to attend) there were eight contestants and five 03-A3's 1st thru 3rd was taken by the 03-A3's the other rifles were a M1 Carbine, 30/40 Krag, and a K31. thought it interesting that last year the predominate rifle was the K31 ,this year the 03-A3,

They sure do! I wish more people would compete with them in my area matches. There are mostly black rifles a few Garands and a M1A or two and then me with my 03A3 shooting lead .Even though I tied for first place last match with a AR shooter I cant convince those guys that the olde Springfield gives up nothing at 200 yds .All I can do is spread the good word of cast boolits to them.

No black rifles allowed in our matches, actually ours could be classified as a Curio & Relic military shoot. One man competed with a trap door, but didn't win because of the 10 round fast fire part which I thought he did great to get eight of ten off. Had he just had the 20 rounds slow fire he would have won.
