Seating Gas Check ... Help Needed!

I've started casting for my .308 winchester, and have a .309 bullet that uses a 30 cal gas check. Using Hornday gas checks ... what is the easiest way to seat these gas checks?

I don't have a lube/sizer right now, and would rather use a regular Lee sizing die setup if I can.

simply snap the check on and run it thru the lee sizer. I sometimes take a rubber mallet and give them a gentle tap to make sure they are seated firmly.
