Has anyone tried the Lee tumble lube boolits in MLs instead of the REAL boolits. Have a new .45 ML barrel for the Encore and access to .45 tumble lube boolits and would have to buy a .45 REAL. It would be nice to use harder alloy too, like straight ww and 50/50. REAL boolits in anything other than 99% PB are a bitch to get down the barrel. Any info on the different size of tumble lube boolits from the same mold, cast in straight PB, ww, 50/50, #2, #3 etc... Thanks all, 10 ga

I know some have posted they have used other bullets in BP guns but I don't believe it was an inline with success. Give it a try, what do you have to loose?

It might work, depends on fit. Soft lead would be best and load over a card wad to expand the bullit in the grouves. If the bullit is loose and moves forward it could cause bad problems.
